Fern provides complex administrative, research and academic support for Professors Antonio Torralba, Peter Szolovits and Marzyeh Ghassemi, as well as the EECS annual AI+D Search.

Since 2004 Fern is a Physical Education instructor in MIT's Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation (DAPER) teaching vinyasa yoga and mat pilates.
