Monitoring Fetal Health
We develop algorithms to enable automated analysis of the fetus and placenta in dynamic MRI series. Signal quality improvements, tracking and segmentation of the organs of interest, and subsequent analysis of the MRI signal provides measures of placental function and fetal development. These measures promise to yield novel biomarkers of fetal health for monitoring during pregnancy.
