Yonatan Belinkov

Postdoctoral Associate

Yonatan Belinkov is a PhD candidate at the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at MIT and a member of the Spoken Language Systems group. His research interests include natural language and speech processing, especially deep learning approaches for representing language. He has also worked on syntactic parsing, question answering, machine translation, and speech recognition. He obtained an S.M. degree in Computer Science from MIT, and an M.A. in Arabic Studies and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Tel Aviv University.

Arabic Language Processing

The Arabic language is spoken by over one billion people around the world. Arabic presents a variety of challenges for speech and language processing technologies. In our group, we have several research topics examining Arabic, including dialect identification, speech recognition, machine translation, and language processing.
