Paul is a third-year PhD student in the Geometric Data Processing group. His research interests include all aspects of computer animation, though he focuses on simulation and meshing, which is to model the dynamics and geometry of complex objects with simple shapes. Paul completed his undergraduate degree in computer science at the California Institute of Technology with a focus in computer graphics. Outside of academia, Paul enjoys hand-drawn animation and frequently wishes he could be an animator.
