In his research, Doga develops novel tagging mechanisms to embed markers and metadata in real-world objects that allow users to seamlessly interact with them in augmented reality (AR) and ubiquitous computing. He uses digital fabrication, computer vision, and machine learning methods to achieve his human-computer interaction (HCI) vision. He is a 2021 Adobe Research Fellow and a 2020 Siebel Scholar.
