AI to Support Climate Mitigation & Adaptation

Friday, January 21 | 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST
Location: Zoom: https://mit.zoom.us/j/99408889468

The MIT Climate & Sustainability Consortium (MCSC) and MIT Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) are hosting an afternoon MIT-PI focused event on AI to support climate mitigation and adaptation. The objective of this collaborative workshop is to advance MIT's campus conversations on how computation can help address some of the very urgent climate problems.

The workshop will feature a series of panel discussions on enhancing ecosystems and adaptation and resilience, the built environment and the role of AI therein, followed by open conversation, with a wrap-up focused on next steps.
