ABSTRACT:
The U.S. National Academies released a report on "AI and the Future of Work" in November 2024. The speaker, Tom Mitchell, co-chaired this study, along with Erik Brynjolfsson. In this seminar, Mitchell will present the key findings and recommendations of this study, followed by his own current thoughts about how AI is evolving, and how the government can help all of us in the workforce prepare for its job impacts. We will leave plenty of time for a free-ranging discussion as well.
