Finding an advisor

Finding an advisor

Symbiotic student-advisor relationships are integral to the inner-workings of our research, contributing to the many bold thinkers and passionate visionaries who work closely together at CSAIL. Finding an advisor who's a good match in terms of research interests, style and temperament is an important step in the onboarding process at CSAIL.

We encourage you to visit our research section to explore our principal investigators’ varied interests. In most cases researchers will indicate on their personal pages if they are currently accepting students.

Questions about the actual admissions process should be directed to MIT admissions (undergraduate and graduate).
