NPR & WBUR Report On Bigdata@CSAIL

WBUR’s Curt Nickisch covered the kickoff of CSAIL’s new big data initiative on May 30, 2012 and the announcement of CSAIL as the home for the new Intel Science and Technology Center for Big Data. “Intel will spend $12.5 million over the next five years to put some of its researchers in Cambridge alongside brains from MIT. And it’s not just the California chip-maker: AIG, Massachusetts’ own EMC, Thomson Reuters and SAP are all chipping in to partner with MIT,” reported Nickisch.
