A group of CSAIL students, lead by Professor Nick Roy and partnering with Ascending Technologies, won “Best Mission Performance” and “Best Rotorcraft Performance” at the 2008 Micro-Air Vehicle Competition. The competition featured select teams from around the world as part of the inaugural US-Asian Demonstration and Assessment of Micro-Aerial and Unmanned Ground Vehicle Technology Conference. Held in India from March 10-15th, the conference was created to highlight the latest research in both micro-air vehicles and unmanned ground vehicles. For more information, see:
