Social Accountability- Summer 2016

Title: Social Accountability

We want to study and understand the changes (if any) in people's online behavior when they are accountable for all their actions (clicks) on social networks (Facebook) to their friends. As part of this project you will need to build a Chrome Extension to run a controlled social experiment to record people's invisible clicks on Facebook and to measure their behavioral changes. This project will be under the supervision of Daniel J. Weitzner, director of the internet privacy policy research initiative and Ilaria Liccardi.

The right student will be comfortable writing javascript and have an interest in understanding how to run user studies within the privacy domain.
