Looking for funding for a new and unique research project? MIT EECS PhD students are invited to apply for a Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship (QInF), which will be awarded to students presenting fresh ideas for new research. Qualcomm will be awarding $800,000 in fellowships to eight winning teams (teams are to be made up of two PhD students). Applications are due February 15, 2011 and must include an innovation proposal and a faculty recommendation for the proposal. There will be an information session on the Fellowship program tomorrow, Friday, January 21, from 10 am- 11 am in the Hewlett Room (32-G882) at the Stata Center.
