Winston Honored As MacVicar Faculty Fellow

Patrick H. Winston, the Ford Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science at MIT and a principal investigator at CSAIL, has been named a 2011 MacVicar Faculty Fellow in recognition of his outstanding dedication to undergraduate education. MIT faculty members are selected each year for this distinction, which they hold for a 10-year period.

Professor Winston teaches the undergraduate course 6.034, Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, in the fall, and 6.xxx, The Human Intelligence Enterprise, in the spring, a course open to both undergraduate and graduate students.
