Kaelbling Named MacVicar Faculty Fellow

Leslie Pack Kaelbling, the Panasonic Professor of Computer Science and Engineering and a principal investigator at CSAIL, has been named a 2012 MacVicar Faculty Fellow for her outstanding undergraduate teaching, mentoring and educational innovation. MIT faculty members are selected each year for this distinction, which they hold for a 10-year period.
Kaelbling is one of the developers of MIT’s introductory computer science course 6.01, and leads the Learning in Intelligent Systems Group at CSAIL with Professor Tomas Lozano-Perez.
