Ensuring Wireless Safety

CSAIL Associate Professor Dina Katabi and Assistant Professor Nickolai Zeldovich, along with Postdoctoral Associate Nabeel Ahmed and graduate student Shyamnath Gollakota, have developed a new method for creating connections between wireless devices, while still protecting against “man-in-the-middle” attacks. The method is novel, as it does not require a password to protect users from security breeches.
