What are the biggest technological challenges facing today’s computer scientists? What new research is on the horizon, how will it change the way that we use computers, and what will the digital landscape look like in 10 years? If you’d like the answer to these questions and many more about the future of technology, vote for the CSAIL panel proposal at the 2014 South by Southwest (SXSW) conference.

SXSW, a music and technology festival held annually in Austin, Texas, is known for being a breeding ground for new ideas and emerging technologies. SXSW is a fantastic opportunity to showcase cutting-edge technological developments, and with this in mind CSAIL is looking to participate in next year’s festival.

Each year thousands of speakers from around the world submit ideas to SXSW and a small percentage are chosen to participate in the festival. CSAIL needs your help to get one of the coveted spots on the 2014 program. Public voting accounts for 30% of the selection process and will begin on Monday, August 19 at 2pm EDT on the SXSW website.
