Google Celebrates MIT

Google paid tribute to MIT this past weekend with a blog post celebrating the Institute’s 150-year history of innovation and excellence. Google noted key contributions MIT has brought to the field of computer science, including the work of Professor and CSAIL Principal Investigator Ronald Rivest with Adi Shamir and Leonard Adleman on writing the RSA algorithm for public key encryption.
The blog post also mentioned Google’s dedication to furthering computer science and artificial intelligence research at MIT, highlighting the company’s presentation of a focused research award to CSAIL, its support of the MIT Intelligence Initiative (I²), as well as the company’s work with Professor and CSAIL Principal Investigator Hal Abelson.
