Introduction to RSS
What is RSS?
RSS feeds provide news updates from a website in a standard format. An RSS news reader (or aggregator) collects news from various websites that you choose and provides it to you in a simple form.
How do I subscribe to an RSS feed?
1) First you need an RSS news reader that will work for you. Some RSS readers are installed on your computer or mobile device. Others run from a web site. There is a list of available RSS news readers from Google.
2) The way you subscribe depends on the news reader you are using, but generally you copy (or drag) the URL of the RSS feed you want to subscribe to into your news reader. The URL for the CSAIL news rss feed is: http://www.csail.mit.edu/csailnewsoutput/rss
