We describe a set of natural image statistics that are built upon a
multi-scale multi-orientation image decomposition (e.g., wavelets).
This set consists of first and higher-order statistics that capture
certain regularities of natural images. I will show how these
statistics can be useful in several digital forensic applications,
including differentiating between photographic and photorealistic
images, and detecting hidden messages embedded within digital images.
