Speaker Biography:
Nick Bilton is the Lead Technology Writer/Reporter for The New York Times Bits Blog. He has a background in design, user interface, journalism, hardware hacking, video, etc. He previously worked as a researcher in The Times Research & Development Labs, looking at the media landscape 2-10 years out. In addition to The Times, Nick helped co-found NYCResistor, a hardware hacker space in Brooklyn, NY. He is also an Adjunct Professor at NYU in the Interactive Telecommunications Program teaching a course called "1, 2, 10 - designing interaction for mobile, computing and TV," and also teaches a course called "Telling stores with sensors, data and humans."
