Title: Entering the Workforce: Legal Issues
Abstract: As you leave MIT and join the workforce, you may come into contact with the legal system in a number of ways. When you start a job, you'll likely assume a number of legal obligations. You'll face additional legal issues as you leave a job or start your own company. This talk will discuss some issues you should watch out for during those transitions.
Biography: Patrick Curran is a partner in the New York office of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP. He has litigated disputes involving some of the world's largest technology companies.
