Relevant URL: Molecular Systems Biology and EMBO publications are working to promote
a "transparent" vision of scientific publishing. At our journal, this
includes a dedication to open-access publication, a ground-breaking
transparent peer review process, and clear standards promoting the
public release of data, code, and models. In this talk, I will
outline our efforts in these directions and discuss their special
relevance for the systems biology field. I will also providing a
behind-the-scenes look at the steps a manuscript passes through from
submission to publication at Molecular Systems Biology.
