In 2011, MIT celebrates a century and a half of excellence in education and technological innovation with a series of six MIT150 Symposia in which we will explore past milestones and look toward future advancements.
"Computation and the Transformation of Practically Everything," April 11-12, 2011, will celebrate the evolution of the Information Age and MIT's contributions. The event will bring together early and recent pioneers from a variety of fields to review the role computation has played in the past and present and to explore frontiers that lie ahead.
We invite you to join us to hear how computation has changed finance, commerce, politics, entertainment, architecture, biology, manufacturing, and, well...practically everything.
Registration for Computation and the Transformation of Practically Everything is open: We hope to see you in April!
